Sr Prom

These are pictures from Andy’s Sr prom at the Flippin Castle in Clatskanie. First they had dinner, followed by dessert and dancing.

We also had a short tour/history lesson about the house.

  The dining room was lovely and the food was delicious!

Andy didn’t have a date but still went and we all had a good time! He even danced… ;o)

Memorial Day Fun With Guns

Today we celebrated those who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms by enjoying those very freedoms they won for us. Thank you! May we never take those freedoms for granted!

What a phenomenal group of kids to spend the day with! Thanks for letting us use your place, Don! I always love a day at Sore Acres!

There were a lot of guns, a LOT of ammo, a lot of explosions and unfortunately, a LOT of rain!!!

Joel shot a gun for the very first time today!

Lots of clay pigeons gave up their lives today for our enjoyment…

Zack bought some exploding targets for an extra bit of BOOM and fun!

 

 

The rain didn’t damper our fun but did make it really hard to keep a fire going!

The grand finale was 2.5 pounds of BOOM from 75 yards away!

Sunday School Graduation Picnic

Memorial Day weekend means the Sunday School/Graduation Picnic. I’ll admit the weather hasn’t been good the last few years but it’s never really rained… until this year. And this year it POURED!!!

But it didn’t completely dampen our picnic under the covered area and it didn’t wash out our fellowship at all!

This year we celebrated Andy’s high school and Elizabeth’s college graduation. Unfortunately, Elizabeth couldn’t be there. But Andy was there to enjoy his cake, be prayed over and open his gift.

Birthdays & Mother’s Day

Today we celebrated Mother’s Day and birthdays! Zack turned 20, Elsie 2 and I just got one year older… LOL

We had such a great time! I love that we love hanging out together as a family! That is a gift in and of itself.
