San Juan Senior Trip

The weekend following graduation (and finals at LCC), the parents sent the boys on a 3 day trip to the San Juan Islands with Walt and Dena on their boat.

I wasn’t there, so I don’t know exactly what they did. But they all came back alive and the van was unscathed, so they must have been fine.

I do know that they camped at Sequim Bay State Park. I know they went on the boat. I know they swam and jumped off a bridge on Orcas Island. Other than that???

Well, you’ll just have to look at the few pictures they took…

Hmmm??? Well, at least they had fun…

Grad Party

After graduation, we had the family over for a party!

There were gifts…

food…

kittens…

Elsie and Tank had fun together

and dress up!

Ada found some fun stuff to play with

It was a fun party and we were thankful to those to came to help us celebrate! 

Zack’s Graduation

Zack’s graduation ceremony was so wonderful! Simple, short and Christ-centered. We really loved being a part of it and hope those who attended felt the same!

    To start off, the boys led us in worship

Both Zack and Dawson gave speeches to their fellow graduates

Zack also shared a safety message to the graduates from his cap… LOL

    

Then the families presented their graduates with their diplomas while they read each graduate’s bio

Then the Class of 2012 was presented and they changed their tassels

  Ian had a bit of trouble with his tassel ;o)

   I think the boys were excited to be done with high school!

Family Flashback- Ship Trip

Way back in May 2006, I arranged a field trip to see the Lady Washington: a tall ship and the official ship of the state of Washington. I don’t remember exactly what happened, but she was unable to make it to Longview and we toured the Hawaiian Chieftain instead.

It was such a fun day and we met many people who are still great friends today!

Wow! The kids have really grown up but the parents look the same! LOL

We obviously had a very good day!
