Our first day we loaded up our water and sunscreen and went to hike to Hamama Falls: a pretty little falls with a fun swimming hole on the trail.
it seemed more like a road than a trail… :o)
so nice to have our own photographer! Thanks, Karen!
the white ginger flower in my hair smelled so nice but I could feel my nose plug up as I walked… so it had to go. :o(
Chris hiked a bit off the trail to take a pic of the view
The Osborne family
Can you see the man’s face in the mountain?
Hamama Falls
kind of reminded me of the falls in the Columbia Gorge
Seth and Lydia being silly :o)
Karen and Lydia cool off in the falls
I fell in love with the trees in Hawaii!
the kids enjoyed jumping into the swimming hole
Hiking and swimming worked up quite an appetite! So we continued north and had lunch at Kualoa Ranch. A rodeo and car show was also going on that day, which made the ranch a little more crowded than usual.
Such a pretty spot! Lost, Godzilla & Jurassic Park were all filmed here at the ranch! Just to name a few…
hibiscus flowers are everywhere on the island
The evening was spent enjoying supper, great company and the lovely cool evening on the patio!
