Steven came home from AZ for Christmas on Wednesday and a bunch of us went down to Portland to pick him up at the airport. I wish I had gotten a picture of the whole mob of us there to greet him… One person there remarked, “That’s a lot of people for just one guy!” Yup! :o)
After we got his luggage, we went to have shawarma (just like The Avengers, except we hadn’t just saved the planet from bad guys from another world)! It was so yummy!
We had warm pitas, hummus, shawarma, Turkish coffee and baklava! Next time we’ll take Zack with us when we go…
But what Steven really wanted to do was go to Voodoo Donuts… So we did!
We drove by this fantastic theater playing “It’s a Wonderful Life”! I think that would be a very fun Christmas outing!
