I was thankful for…
*A free tour of Singapore.
* Apartments don’t cost $1-2 million in the US!
* I don’t live in a city with 6,400 people per square kilometer!
Getting off the bus for our FIFTEEN MINUTE stop at the waterfront. If you weren’t back at the bus, you walked back to the airport! The tour guide made sure we understood this clearly!
a candy store on the way to the waterfront
That cruise ship looking thing is a hotel with a swimming pool at the very tip! Swimming there is on my bucket list!
the merlion is the symbol of Singapore
garbage patrol boat in the harbor
* A free tour of the most expensive country in the world.
a piece of art celebrating diversity
a building in Chinatown
* We don’t have to pay an average of $85,000 for a car!
traffic in Singapore (it only seemed bad because we hadn’t gotten to India yet LOL)
one of the busiest harbors in the world
* We didn’t have to walk back to the airport… ;o)
waterfall at the butterfly garden
butterflies love pineapple!
* Our longest layover was in Singapore.
one of the many “resting lounges”
* An easy time through security at all the airports.
* They didn’t search Rick’s bag when we left the airport in Cochin. Whew!
* A friendly face to pick us up! Thanks Babu and Bebin!!!
* It wasn’t as hot at night in India. No a/c in the bus.
(We were just too tired and rushed to get any pics once we reached India…)
