The day of the wedding finally arrived. Everyone showered and got their clothes ironed. I made the food for the potluck and we headed to Camp Wilkerson to help with set up. Since we were the first to arrive, I picked up the keys, signed in and waited…
I would have liked to have taken more pictures of setting up but we were so busy setting up that we didn’t have time. Everyone worked hard and somehow we got it all done in time! God is good! And we did it all without having to bother the bride too much with questions or decisions. There was even time for everyone to have a bite to eat (including the bride) before picture time. It’s amazing how much you can get done when you have a great crew who are totally willing to help and you just do what you want… ;o)
the lodge was all decorated
the chairs were all set up and the giant balloons anchored
the “guest book” was in the perfect spot
the rings were in safekeeping
even the Model T was ready to roll
But first we had to take pictures…
Taking pictures also means a lot of standing around…
Going over the prayer for the ceremony
It’s okay Will, you don’t have to be sad. You’ll still get to see your brother after he’s married…
Oh wait. He just didn’t want his picture taken… ;o)
Then it was time to get the show on the road…
