Pardon Me, Boy…

Why, yes. It is the Chattanooga Choo Choo. No trip to Chattanooga would be complete without a stop at the famous Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. Built in 1908, the station served its last passenger in 1970 and become a hotel in 1972 (a very good year).

We parked across the street and did a bit of poking around the hotel grounds…

Then we took a peek inside…

Then we took a stroll along the tracks to the other rooms…

The Blue Orleans, on the other hand, got raving reviews and they weren’t wrong. We shared the alligator appetizer and 5 dish sampler plate in hopes to have room for the chocolate chip bread pudding. No such luck. We were stuffed but the service was fantastic and we vowed that we would be back for dessert after a walk around. (I’m sure they’d heard that before.)
