Sunset at Sunset Beach

What better place to watch the sun set than at Sunset Beach on the North Shore of Oahu? We drove up, found parking, and plopped ourselves on the beach to wait for the sun to go down. There were a ton of surfers, so there was something to watch while we waited.

I love that there are chickens everywhere!

    The sun goes down pretty fast…

       The surfers don’t come in just because the sun has set, but we were starving and went back into Haliewa for dinner…

There aren’t many places open late, not that 7:00 is late, but the food trucks that were still open all needed cash and we were out, so Mexican food it was!
