Disney World Day Three

Wednesday morning I woke up and checked the weather. You know, just in case it was doing something unexpected. 😄 It wasn't. But I did get to watch this beautiful hot air balloon float by our window...

The weather was already so nice that I didn't even need to bring a sweater to wear with my Alice in Wonderland dress... 😊

Epcot didn't open until 11:00am. But instead of taking to opportunity to sleep in, I made reservations for an early breakfast at the Polynesian Resort. We got there a bit early but it gave us the opportunity to poke around...

Since it was one of the two original resorts that opened in 1971, I loved the retro vibe! 😍

They let us in a bit early, which was nice but I already knew exactly what we wanted: Tonga Toast and Macadamia Nut pancakes. And since we were celebrating Chris' birthday, we got a bonus treat... They were all delicious! I am going to be figuring out how to make Tonga Toast soon! 😋

Unfortunately, we were too full to eat it and it didn't fare too well in the backpack all day... 😥

Getting in early also gave us plenty of time to poke around the resort shops and displays and get to Epcot before the park opened. 😁  Unfortunately, our tickets were tagged again and apparently the nice gentlemen at Guest Services at Magic Kingdom didn't actually fix our tickets. But after 40 minutes with a very nice lady at Epcot's Guest Services, our tickets were good to go and we got a special pass to the front of the line at Test Track... 😃

Even though the Flower & Garden Festival wasn't started yet, we did get to see some of the displays already out. Buzz was there to greet us on our arrival...

I had no idea there was actually a ride inside the "golf ball!" 😄

Test Track was fun! But it was even more fun when you get to walk right to the front of the line... 😁

Once we finished the rides on one side of Future World, we made our way to the World Showcase...

Epcot is so pretty! It's like a park, a world's fair and Disney all rolled into one.

First stop: Mexico and the Gran Fiesta Tour...

Even the queue line is cool!

It goes right through a little Mexican marketplace...

The Gran Fiesta was a rather fun tour. And the Three Caballeros made for entertaining tour guides... 😃

Anna and Elsa were the official greeters at Norway...

The view was just so pretty...

Italy...

Japan...

Morocco...

In France I got to enjoy my favorite thing to eat at Disney while waiting for the Beauty and the Beast sing-along: the macaron with fresh raspberries and lime cream. 😋

Captain Hook at Peter Pan....

Canada had a lovely waterfall and flowers by Butchart Gardens...

After Great Britain, it was back around the loop at Mexico again for our dinner reservation in Germany...

The Stave Church Gallery in Norway...

China...

At Germany for our dinner at the Biergarten...

It was like eating at an outdoor beer garden indoors...

complete with live entertainment and a TON of yummy German food! 😋

It's a good thing we still had things to do and rides to ride to work off that dinner! 😊

Morocco again...

We were moving a bit slow after all that food and we still had a few rides left over in Future World, so we took a shortcut across the lake... 😉

By the time we finished the last of the rides it was dark. But Spaceship Earth is even prettier at night... 😍
