WOU Visit

After discovering that Zack couldn’t attend WSU like he had hoped (we learned they don’t have a criminal justice degree at Preview Night), he decided to go to Western Oregon. But we didn’t feel right about him applying to a school he’d never even seen, so we went down last Thursday.

First we checked out the sales racks at the bookstore and found this funny little bear with a magnet in his butt. We put him on our van and call him Mr Cuddles. He did really well all the way back to Portland on the hood of the van, even at 70mph!

We poked around campus a bit waiting for our appointments…

They have these super sweet drinking fountains all over campus. They even filter the water! I think we need one at home…

Not only is the tree really old, it is also the third largest Christmas tree in the country! We’re gonna have to come out for the lighting next Christmas!

When we met with the admissions office and academic advisor and learned all kinds of new things! The next year just got busier…

Then it was definitely time for lunch. The very nice lady suggested Yeasty Beasty just down the street. Good choice!

But the very best part of WOU is that they already sent Zack his acceptance letter less than a week after he applied! Way to go, Zack! We’re so proud of you!!!
