Montana- Day 3 Glacier NP (The Loop to St Mary Falls)

From Logan Pass we took the shuttle back to the van, ate some lunch, gave up our prime parking spot and headed back to the pass. Although we had already seen them from the bus, this time we stopped and took pictures at places like Bird Woman Falls overlook, the Weeping Wall, Big Bend and Oberlin Bend...

After crossing the Continental Divide, we were now in all new territory again with all new things to see...

Our first stop on the east side was Lunch Creek. Before going under the road, the creek flows down a natural rock staircase that just beckoned us to climb...

I'm so glad we did because while we were up there, we stumbled upon this bighorn sheep TWICE! It was pretty fun to be that close...

From the other side of the road it was pretty clear why it was called Lunch Creek...

After passing through Piegan Mountain via the East Tunnel, there was yet another gorgeous viewpoint and a pretty little falls before reaching St Mary Falls trailhead...
