After all the times I messed this quilt up, I can't believe it didn't fall apart when I picked it up. :o) I truly think that I have never had to rip out, re-sew, improvise, and adapt so many times with one quilt. Every mistake I could make was probably made on this one. But now that it's done (and I'm glad it is finally done), I really love it!

That is a really beautiful quilt! Great work. No one would ever know there had been mistakes.
Wow, Carrie, great job! I was just in my sewing room working on a couple of projects and decided it was time to call it a night when I needed to use the seam ripper. I came to my computer, checked your blog, and have new motivation again because of looking at that beautiful quilt!
Carrie, that truly is a beautiful quilt! All the hard work paid off - it looks great! Now you can tackle anything, right? I just read your Easter post. Great photos! We're so glad we got to visit your church and see you again. It made Easter egg-stra special (ooh, sorry, had to through that pun in!) Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog - yes, I was wearing the new outfit my dh told me to go buy. I felt pretty good in it and I appreciate your compliment. Thanks!
Take care - Kate
How do you edit a comment? I meant to say "had to throw that pun in". I hate making typing errors! Bye!

Wow, that is really awesome. What an heirloom. All the mistakes you had to fix probably makes it more precious.
I'm just letting you know, I've chosen you for a "Thinking Blogger" award. This is a very fun sort of tag. Please log onto my blog to read more, and I hope you enjoy it.
