Our family has many reasons to celebrate on the 4th of July. Not only is it Independence Day (a favorite in our famly of pyros) but it is also our nephew Charlie's birthday. Now it is also when we celebrate my parents' birthdays and next year Ada's birthday, too.
First we went to Amy and Greg's to celebrate Charlie's second birthday. He loves trains, so we gave him all of the boys' old Brio train stuff. My sister made an adorable Little Engine That Could cake and we had lots of fun there.

Then we were off to the hospital to visit Ada and her mom and dad.
Without Frankie there, we realized we were going to be short on fireworks. So we met Grandma, Theresa and Maggie at the store to buy a few more.
Then we went to my parents' house to finish our celebrations. There was lots of fun games, great food, family and FIREWORKS!!!
