Christmas Eve

It wasn't what we expected, but we had a very nice (and snowy) Christmas Eve.
We made it to church for our candlelight service, and while there were only 9 of us there it was a nice time of worship together.

On the way home, we drove down our favorite street to look at Christmas lights. They were beautiful in the snow.

Thankfully we kept our chains on the car. Without them we would NOT have made it back up our hill. We barely made it up with chains. Thankfully Chris is great at driving in the snow even though the other guys aren't.

Then we ate Christmas cookies from friends, watched "It's A Wonderful Life", got the stuff ready for Santa and headed to bed.

although Zack is typing, we used Will's letter for Santa

we had to put out an orange for the reindeer because we used our last carrot for the snowman

Merry Christmas everyone!
