Stupid (I mean brave) Things To Do In The Snow

Even homeschoolers get a snow day when the weather is this perfect.

It has snowed all day. Here is a picture I took this afternoon. You can tell we have a lot more snow than we did this morning.

We have had lots of fun watching it snow, playing in the snow, hottubbing in the snow, making angels in the snow, sledding in the snow, sipping hot cocoa after being in the snow...

But having all boys, means we sometimes do things a little differently. Well, here it's easier just to show you....

Yes, it did hurt. But that didn't stop Zack from doing it only minutes later (face down in the snow) or from Will doing it yet again. See for yourselves...
The boys weren't really satisfied with our little slope in the backyard, so they made their own sledding "hill".
I really miss sledding in the football field at Hillcrest in MN, so even I went down the "hill".
But all that fun in the snow, means lots of wet stuff to hang dry.

I see you finally got some snow. I stayed home from work today thinking we'd get more snow... but no. I now remember why I don't listen to the weather reporters.
And the hot-tubbing in the snow reminds me of when we went hot-tubbing in January and I had icicles growing in my hair.
Good times,
T

Falynne says " That looks like it is cold! Why do you have your swimming suits on? How deep is the snow?"

That is great! Very funny! Leave it up the the boys to make such a great hill. Megan
