Happy New Year

Last night was our 3rd Annual Family New Year's Party at our church. Families come and play games and then the youth group stays and pulls an all-nighter until 7am. This year the boys invited several friends and 5 came to join in the fun!

As usual, we had lots of good food and played games together like Bananagrams, Whoonu, and Apples to Apples. We set up several game systems to play, too. Thanks to the Wii, even grown-ups got to play video games.
Rock Band was a favorite!
Will and Tony playing Lazer Battles
Walt and Jim just having fun
I think Inara's favorite part was Bonnie's meatballs
she's all ready to celebrate New Year in her jammies
Bonnie's getting the hang of Wii bowling
Chris, William and I tried to stay up all night, too. But it was really hard to stay awake while watching movies in our sleeping bags with a fire in the woodstove. We managed to stay up until after 3:30, but the alarm did wake us up when it was time to get the boys. I was so grateful that Chris was willing to go out and pick them up. Thanks honey!

We almost made it all night...

May God bless you and your families as you continue to celebrate God’s greatest gift, His Son.
We pray that our lives may reflect our grateful hearts to a lost and dying world who need to know of this wonderful gift! May we all be seeking where God is at work around us and join in His work in this new year.
