There were so many wonderful things about Family Bible Camp this year! It would be really hard to list them all, but I’m gonna do my best! And thanks to my friends Jan and Kim, I have some pics to show you, too! (I only took about 10 all week… I guess I was too busy having a wonderful time!
1. Getting there a day early. With Chris being the Camp Director, we arrived at camp the day before it started. Before we left it seemed like too much of a hassle, but it was totally worth it! Not only did we get to have supper with our friends but we got to spend some fun time as a family just exploring and enjoying the camp all to ourselves. We played basketball and tennis (first time for the boys and the first in about 20+ years for Chris and I). And the best part was when Zack said that although Bible Camp is lots of fun, he really just liked hanging out and having fun as a family! That made this momma very happy!!!

2. Having our friends as the main speaker. This year, our friend Justin Vold was our main speaker. Not only did we get to hear some fantastic law/gospel preaching from this fiery evangelist, but he brought his whole family with him! It was so fun to see Melissa and the kids again! What a blessing!!!

3. A new canopy. This year Don bought a new canopy to go over ALL the tables over at the group camp. I am not only thankful for the protection it provided but also that we were allowed to enjoy it even though Chris and I refuse to be a part of the “group camp”. Thanks guys! Oh, and for the entertainment while watching the guys set it up… LOL
4. Teenage children who will still play with little kids. Nuff said!
5. Lots of great meals with friends! Not only do they let us sit under their canopy, they even feed us outsiders… :o) And they feed us GOOD! It’s so good to have friends and especially friends that can COOK! (They even let the teenagers come and eat after eating at the dining hall!)
