Camping at the Creek

This year we spent a week camping at the creek with Theresa and Amy and the kids.

After dropping us and the trailer off, Chris stayed and went tubing down the river with us before heading home.

  This time instead of starting at McIvor and ending at the creek, we started at the creek and ended at Carver. I think the 2 + hour trip was better than the 5 + hour trip. And since the weather wasn’t very warm and early start would have been very cold!

The remaining days we spent camping at the creek, hanging at Grandpa & Grandma’s, having dim sum with Theresa, waiting for the baby to come, having friends come to visit at camp, swimming, sitting around the campfire, hiking in the Gorge, taking Andy to the ER and then back home… Yeah, we had a pretty full week!

 

For her own safety, and our sanity, Stella spent the week on her “leash”. She actually didn’t mind it much, especially after she got better at not getting it tangled around all the chairs. In fact, she seemed to really enjoy being a puppy! ;o)

It was such a fun week!
