Israel Day 6/11 - ???

This is all of the things I forgot to post with others things or wasn't sure where they should go. Just a bunch of miscellaneous stuff...

We ate at the restaurant, called Borderline, twice while there but this was the first time there. The draped ceilings, mosaic sidewalk and wooden indian head on the  wall by the bathroom made it stand out.

Here are some shots of things in Jerusalem, like the Church of All Nations from the other side of the street and one of a few "riot" vehicles.

It legit looks like it had seen a few riots

Crossing the border into Palestine...

Scenes from Bethlehem...

these houses were very close to the border wall

Just before going to the hotel we stopped at this Christian-owned shop to buy souvenirs...

The Manger Square Hotel in Bethlehem...

a view down the spiral staircase to the lobby

the floor right below ours had rooms that had this
little park-like courtyard but no one could access it

our floor had this interesting dome

and this construction

our room was very nice

It was my birthday, so everyone sang Happy Birthday to me at dinner and afterwards we went out to explore town with Matt and Melissa...

We got a little bit lost but it helped that we could see our hotel in the distance...

This coffee shop was right across the street from the hotel lobby...
