Disneyland 2022 - Days 1 & 2

February is a better month to visit Disneyland than May. So we decided to celebrate my 50th the week of Chris' birthday.

Thankfully we could get cheap airfare from Bellingham to LAX. Flying out of BLI is the best! No lines, no drive, no parking...

The drive from LAX to Anaheim gave us lots of time to chat with Richard, our Uber driver. He told us that our conversation made his day. Most passengers don't acknowledge him, or one another, at all. We enjoyed talking about his dogs on his ranch in the mountains outside of LA. Traffic was light and we made good time to the hotel.

We got checked in and walked the two blocks to pick up a Subway sandwich for dinner (thanks to a sweet gift from Glenna), and some food for breakfast from the Walgreens.

Then it was up and at 'em bright and early to be in line when the gates open at California Adventure. For Flashback Friday I wore my Tower of Terror outfit.

We met two young couples from Vancouver, WA in line and went straight to Avengers' Campus and Webslingers. Poor Chris' arms hurt for hours after we got done.

Then the six of us headed to Mission Breakout. While we still miss the Tower of Terror, this one is way more fun!

Thanks to the low crowds and shorter lines we were able to do every ride in the park!

The weather on Friday was the best we had the whole week.

And it was a good thing we rode the Emotional Whirlwind when we did because it was down the rest of the week...

The view from the Pal Around is even prettier at night with a full moon!

After dinner at Pym's Test Kitchen, we went to CarsLand again. I love this place after dark!

We always love a good hoedown with Mater...

We stopped by Downtown Disney before heading back to the hotel...

I guess Belle has put on a bit of weight. But that is to be expected, it happens to most women after 30... LOL
