Buried Treasure

It was another cold day on the river, but the boys insisted that the water feels warmer when the air is cold. Okay, whatever! I think they must have been a little cold because they buried each other in the warm sand.

The boys sailed out to climb on the pilings

They buried Will standing up in a hole

I can see from the clouds that it must've been a bit chilly. I find the colour of your sand amazing. I've never seen that colour here in Australia. It looks very soft and warm.
By the way, I love your kitchen. Plenty of bench space, which is what we lack around here.
Take care,
Paula

Brrrr! I think boys move around so much they never stop to think about getting cold! And they don't mind sand - I can't imagine being buried in sand! I don't see you buried in the sand - come on, Mom! Just kidding! I'll bet you were sitting on a towel with a parka on (at least, that's what I'd be doing.) Beach days are fun no matter what the weather - I'm glad your boys enjoyed it so. Take care!
