Our friend Chad came and taught a class on water safety and canoeing for my Dangerous Class for Boys. Then after co-op was over, we met at the lake to practice what we had learned. The weather wasn't ideal but we were thankful it wasn't cold and that we had umbrellas. The boys had a BLAST! When Chad asked if there were any questions when they were all packing up, one of the boys asked, "Yea, can we do it again?" I'm thinking we'll have to borrow a canoe or two and try canoe-camping this summer!!!
