This year's Bible Camp was fantastic! Here are just some of the highlights from our week...
1. Seeing friends This is always one of my favorite parts of Bible Camp! I love it and it always makes me feel a little sad that we can't live that close to them all the time.

2. Special music Our church was in charge of doing special music for the offertory this year on Tuesday night. We went planning to do "Forever" with Zack and Ian on guitars, Andy on drums, and Chris and I on vocals. Upon arrival we realized that there were no drums on the stage. So we went to plan B, which ended up being Andy playing guitar and me singing "You Are My All in All". We didn't have music for that one, but Andy did a fantastic job (of course) and I did pretty well considering it was my first time singing in front of a group by myself. I did a LOT of praying, tried to ignore the I think I'm going to vomit in front of 300 + people feeling, shut my eyes and just did it!
3. Weather The weather was PERFECT! Every day was sunny and warm! God blessed us beyond what we could even imagine.
4. Teaching Both the adult class teacher and the evening speakers were great! We were really challanged and even the boys could recall what they learned in their class, too!
5. High Ropes Course All of my guys did the high ropes course this year (see the following posts)
6. Zip Line Although singing a solo was challenge enough for me for the week, I didn't want to be a total chicken and went on the zip line with Chris and Ian (also see following post)
7. Sonburst Talent Show Zack, Andy and Ian formed a band called "The Ignition" for the talent show this year and played a song called "Lost World". They ROCKED!!! I had no idea how proud I could feel watching them play in front of a cheering crowd! It was AWESOME!!!
8. 4th of July Although it seemed a little untraditional, the 4th of July was pretty fun! (see yet another following post)

9. William Kayaking I wish I had taken pictures! :o( While Chris and I canoed, Will got to take out a kayak for the first time. This was a big year for Will!
10. Watching God at Work It was so powerful to watch what God was doing at camp this year. He is growing my little boys into young men and using them to do things for His kingdom. I was especially proud when I learned that they prayed for Ian and the talent show when they saw that he was beginning to feel nervous. I saw people come to Christ for the first time! PTL God never ceases to amaze and surprise me!
Laundry: not a highlight, just a necessary evil

Great post, you summed it all up really well! Our laundry looked like that too. Big news, I get the "you shouldn't ignore your kids complaints" award, our 10 yr old Natalie has the chicken pox; and yes she was complaining about itching since Friday - with all the 'squitoes, in and out of the pool (she's prone to ecxema) it didn't even phase me. Your pics are great, look forward to seeing you next year and way cool on Justin Vold being the speaker!!!
