Shrub Removal

Yesterday marked the completion of Phase One of our front yard renovation. Two sides of the yard are surrounded by  huge arborvitae shrubs. This past winter was pretty hard on ‘em and they really never bounced back. So we decided it was time to do something with them. Some of them will be cut down to a more manageable height, while some will be removed completely.

Phase One was removing the first two shrubs nearest the driveway in hopes to have better visibility while exiting the driveway and to possibly bring back our poor blue spruce tree. The lack of sunlight and space has been rather hard on it.

We think it looks better already…

all cleaned up and ready for the dump

It smelled so nice with all the cut greens. It reminded me of Christmas growing up and camping in northern Arizona.

HAHAHAHAHAH!

I just couldn't resist the pun!

It looks great out there, I love blue Spruce trees and hate shrubs!

Keep up the good work!
