After days of sunny warm weather, the cloudy cool morning on Tuesday seemed freezing! We spent most of the morning taking our one shower of the week, playing card games at camp, or playing yard games by the store. We had so much fun playing horseshoes and bocce that we sort of lost track of time and were late for lunch. OOPS!
Eventually the weather cleared and warmed up a bit and we made some plans for the afternoon. After lunch, Chris, Bradley, Tia, Sam, Hobo, Nathan and I all headed to the south end of the island to the American Camp (the site of the infamous Pig War).
There were lots of trails, but we spent most of our time exploring the beach and rocks around Grandma’s Cove. The views were beautiful and we had lots of fun!

Before heading back to camp we took a detour to take a quick peek at South Beach. It was a beautiful view with lots of beach and views of the islands!
When we arrived home, we found that our camp fishermen were successful in bringing home a bass to cook. So they dredged it in Tang and crushed Goldfish crackers and fried it up in a bit of butter. All things considered, it wasn’t too bad. LOL
