After church we headed to Portland to spend Easter with family at my mom and dad’s.
We always enjoy getting together and seeing everyone! It’s fun to see how much the kids have grown and visit! This year we talked about the family compound again (it would be so cool!) LOL and spent lots of time watching videos on YouTube about butchering and plucking chickens! Nothing says “happy Easter” like killin’ chickens! :o) (Sorry girls…) It was the first time I had to sign in to YouTube in order to prove that I was 18 and could watch it…
My mom bought all the grandkids matching outfits this year so we could get a group picture. Sometimes things don’t go as well as you thought they should…
we started with the little ones first
it didn’t last long, so we added the boys in for support
then things started falling apart fast…
laughing at Stella didn’t help
so then we moved on to easier subjects…
Yeah, that went way better
After dinner, grandma decided to try again. Maybe they were just hungry???
we just needed matching blue outfits for the mommies!
