True to form, the Terry Taylor garage sale held some treasures that I had to have and didn’t even know I wanted… I didn’t find what I needed but I did find some things that I wanted.
Theresa came up this year so she could experience it for herself. I think if she’d known, she would have worn more comfy shoes. And if any of us had known, we would have brought umbrellas… Thankfully, Chris went back to the van and met up with us later and delivered the umbrellas. Thanks honey!
While the rain was kinda yucky, it’s amazing what great deals may be scored when people are desperate and their stuff is getting wet!
So, here’s the run-down on what we brought home this year…
from left to right: white mixing bowl, metal water pitcher (great for ice water or a bunch of daisies), giant turquoise bowl (I love it and it’s HUGE, the possibilities are endless…), adjustable shaker (hole sizes from small, to medium to large), mini syrup container (perfect for the trailer) and the turkey vase (I am always looking for new Thanksgiving decor)
snack pack (holds two water bottles and enough room for a snack and the camera. Perfect for quick day hikes!), webbing, butterflies…
I loved the color of this webbing and you never know when you’ll find a chair that would look perfect in orange and turquoise blue… (and they were only a nickel a piece)
This one didn’t need it and it was only a buck. It reminds me of camping with my grandparents when I was a kid.
I love the way the butterflies look in the trailer! But I’m wondering if I should spray them gold, orange and brown???
I just HAD to get this! Retro, cute and educational…
Theresa and I thought the bag was cute and once we looked inside we had to have it! (In fact, we went back to get it and rescued it from the “going to Goodwill" truck)
How cool is that???
Although my sister loved it, she decided it was meant for me to own it. The shoes are my size and the ball has my name on it! Now if I only liked to bowl… LOL
So now that’s it’s all ours now, I just have to decide what has to go to make room for it…

Cool finds! I think the butterflies could be painted, they are too good of a match to the panel color- they'd stand out then!
