With a 10 am check out time, day three was a little shorter than we would have liked. But real life was calling us back home…
So we took off and stopped at one of our favorite thrift stores, The Rag & Bone in Seaside. Not only do they have fun vintage items but an army surplus section, too!
With the holidays creeping up around the corner, we did a bit of Christmas shopping while we were there. So, needless to say, they’re not many pictures… It sort of ruins the surprise! :o)
But I did pick up a couple of items for myself. I just couldn’t help myself…
I just liked these kitschy salt and pepper shakers!
This breadbox is in phenomenal shape for only $2! Now I have to decide whether or not to give it a makeover???
Our last stop on our trip was at Bradley State Park on Hwy 30 outside Wauna. What a nice place for a picnic and a panoramic view of the valley below! I’ve been told that on a very clear day you can see all the nearby mountains as well…
While it’s always nice to be home, the break from the rat race was just what we needed!
