Paris Day Four: Paris By Bus

The view from the top of the bus was terrific. We got to see Paris from a completely new vantage point...

We saw so many things...

the Eiffel Tower from the Pont Alexandra III

a statue of  MarĂ©chal Ferdinand Foch
a general in WWI

the Eiffel Tower again...

Then it started to drizzle. But hey, we're from Washington. It wasn't that bad...

Trocadero

Des Invalides

a famous cafe near the Paris Opera

the Palais Garnier, or Paris Opera, the setting for
The Phantom of the Opera

Just as we passed the Opera, it started to rain a bit harder...

Thankfully, we were able to move under cover just before we reached the Louvre...

Wait!!! We're driving through there???

Yup

Whew! We made it!

I don't know what this is, but it was pretty...

Then we got a rather soggy view of Notre Dame...

Then we made it to the museum!
