Last Day of Disney 2020

I'm always kind of sad about the last day at Disney, but this year I was excited! Our last day was also Chris' birthday! Will and I went to World of Disney the night before and bought him our 2020 ears...

It made him easy to follow in a crowd :)

A second bonus was that, at least for the first couple of hours, the insoles seemed to help and my feet didn't hurt as much. :)

We spent most of the day doing rides we hadn't done yet (like Astro Orbiters), rides we love and rides that get you wet (it was 80+ degrees)...

Zack and Tatum's ride broke down on Smuggler's Run, so they took some pics while waiting

thumbs up was our pose for the day :)

we all got pretty wet in the front but the
water actually washed over Zack's head! :o

But the highlight of the day was eating at the Blue Bayou. Zack made reservations months in advance so we could do it. It is so pretty with the night sky, the lamps and the trees with the Pirates ride right there. We were a bit surprised at how we couldn't hear the ride or really see the people on the ride (which explains why no one waves when we go past...). :)

the lighting was lovely but not great for pictures

On the way to DCA, we stopped to watch the flag lowering ceremony. It was really cool! There is a band and they honor all the branches of the military and guests who served are invited to stand up front. We sang the national anthem and God Bless America. I'm glad we got to see it. We followed it up with going to see Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

Then we did a few things at DCA, then went back to Disneyland to check out Galaxy's Edge at night.

It was a great trip! Can't wait until next time!!!
