Disneyland 2020 Day Four

After two cool and cloudy days, we were happy to see the sun again on Monday. It made getting there early to get into Rise so much nicer. Not only did we get into a boarding group for the third time but we got group #20! When everyone on Main Street started to cheer at 8:00am, the guy next to me couldn't figure out what was going on. When I explained that people were excited to get into a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance, he didn't seem any less confused... ;)

But the best part of Monday was that we finally got to go into Galaxy's Edge for the first time. We'd been in the "back way" to Rise twice but hadn't actually seen the Black Spire Outpost on Batuu yet. It was worth the wait... <3 div="" nbsp="">

It is so fantastic because it is so immersive! There is so much to see!

You feel so safe having them around (or watched...) ;)

these aren't the droids you're looking for ;)

It's like being on a movie set with shops and food and rides...

We could have our picture with him as long
as we didn't touch him :o

Oh, and characters wandering around. Like Rey and Chewie hiding from the First Order and R2D2 just rolling around. As a bonus, Tatum and William were stopped by Kylo Ren. Yeah, she was excited! :)

who says Storm Troopers aren't nice??? ;)

Not only did we ride on Rise of the Resistance for a second time but we also went on Smuggler's Run as couple of times.

waiting for my turn on Smuggler's Run

But the best part of the day was going to Oga's Cantina (thanks to Zack getting reservations months in advance)!

our DJ was spinning some tunes

our drinks and snacks at Oga's were so good

Zack got a fancy drink with a cookie :)

Before getting changed out of my skirt (not the best outfit for rides), Chris and I went to get our pictures taken with Boba Fett and Darth Vader. <3 div="" nbsp="">

After our time in Star Wars, we went back to the "real world" and did a few more rides in Disneyland before heading back to DCA for a second night of World of Color after dinner.

I love this map! I've never noticed it before???

Chris' feet just couldn't stand, so he skipped out on World of Color and went and did all kinds of solo rides at Disneyland.

By this time, everyone's feet were pretty awful (except Tatum :) ). So when we got back to the room, Zack, Tatum and I walked down to the Walgreens and bought insoles for everyone. From the vast selection available, I'm guessing we weren't the only ones to do that. LOL
